Very nice job.THis is a great example for of a contextual approach to a Passive House. This house looks like it belongs in any more traditional neighborhood.I am very interested in how the house is performing in your climate.I think that your area is definitely a more challenging climate.Again , I applaud your work and hope you continue to post updates as the house is occupied.

Sooo beautiful! Way to go! I love the awnings. Do you mind if I ask who makes them?
Thanks!

Thank you Christian. During the week of 100+ degree days, the cooling system kept the house right at 70 degrees throughout. There was a very slight bit of stratification at the hottest times with the attic temperature getting to 72 degrees.

Kathy, the awinings were fabricated by SunAir Awnings (www.sunairawnings.com ) of Jessup, MD. They are remotely controlled and fold down to completely cover the window opening if desired. We have been very happy with them.
